hey everyone ..

I have a lil weird issue with my Toshiba Satellite M 45 .

few weeks ago it over heated ^^i think ^^ and it turned off and then i tried to turned it on .. it works for 2 sec i hear the fan working and then it dies again ..

i left it for few weeks and then ^^i live in Sweden the temperature went down and my room was cold ^^
then it worked again for 10 15 min then it hangs and turns off .

i bought extra external cooler and tried it didn't make a difference .

any ideas ? and guides how to disassemble the laptop ?

thanks in advance

Someone here in the office had the exact same machine and had the same overheating issue. He returned it several times under the warranty and it was never completely fixed. This makes me think there is some kind of design flaw and unfortunately there may not be a good fix.

However a quick search turned up a list of how to clean the heat sink. You might want to start with that.
If at first you don't succeed F1... If that doesn't work try Google!
