You know how if you go to rename something and it's illegal in windows or you go to delete a file that is in use or something that would cause a general application alert window to pop up? Well normally it should make a sound in windows that could come over my speakers or something. BUT... for some reason all the sudden like yesterday whenever that happens my whole tower beeps. And normally I wouldn't mind, but I have other people where the computer is and it becomes annoying. Anybody know how to fix it? Like would I be missing a sound file or is the registery messed or is it more complex than that? Thx...

do any of the other system sounds work? I've only ever had that happen when there was a problem with my soundcard in device manager. Maybe try reinstalling the drivers?

I think it's just the soundcard or speakers or something supid, so yeah you're right. I talked to a friend about it, I'm too lazy to fix it so yeah... :P
