Turning printer on online

I have a WiFi canon MX882 and I wonder if it is possible to turn it on from a computer using WiFi. It's not a big deal, as I can just leave the printer on, but it would add to the convenience if I could turn it on online.

if you could update it with custom firmware i guess you could add the feature, unless it has a network wake up mode which would depend on the motherboard.
