hey ppl i was just wondering because i cant be bothered with networking i was thinking about weather or not you guys have seen a USB cabel, and where i can buy 1 from that is about 20 metres or so long because i could just plug it from my broardband cable get an extention so i can fit the long USB cable straight into my laptop that is in another room. cheers

You wont get a USB cable longer than 10m. Beyond that the signal becomes distort.

do you know where i will be able to purchase a 10 metre cable then m8

Can't find a 10m cable, longest I found on the net was 5m.

Most people dont need 10m cables so you would need to go to a specialist supplier probably.

To be honest networking would be easier, especially if all your PC's are running XP its dead simple, run a wizard and its done. Wired networking is pretty cheap as well.
