I’ve just upgraded my system to run dual screen.
I’ve got no problems with my graphics card that’s all cool.
Here’s the annoying thing though.
The start bar in Windows Vista won’t stretch across the screen and through the next monitor.
I want to be able to drag open applications between the two, which I currently can’t do.
I’ve checked all the properties for the start bar and the screen display and nothing seems to fix it.
Does anyone have any ideas, all comments are most welcome.

Many thanks

Seems i needed a piece of software called ultramon.
Isn't to expensive and works a treat!

If anyone is having trouble running dual screens on windows then this will sort you out.

If you were using an nVidia card you could have used the nView software to do this. You would run the Multi-Display setup wizard and select Span. This would make your task bar stretch across both screens. Personally I don't like that but to each their own.
