Hey everyone.

I've been getting some pretty cool games as of late, and my Radeon All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro should be doing the job well, but it seems my computer is stuck in 4X AGP. I went into the properties and tried to change it to 8X, but after I restarted (as it said I should) it reset to 4X. My motherboard is an ASUS P4S8X, and the box says right on the front
No.1 AGP8X Serial ATA Support.
I downloaded the Catlayst driver patches for the video card and nothing happened. Please help me! :x

It might be that you need to adjust BIOS setting for the AGP slot...

Get into your BIOS and set your AGP to 8x. I have the 9700Pro running ona Soyo mobo with no problems at all.

Sorry, but could I ask for a better idea of how to go about doing this?
Im pretty literate in this kind of stuff, but I know that I really dont want to mess up my BIOS by accident. I'll give it a go, but I wont do anything I dont trust. Thx too!

Post how you fixed it so that other OZZU users can see and fix their own problems in the future!

Alright,
Well, its weird because I went back into my video card configuration screen and tried one last time to set it to 8X and then restart and for some odd reason it worked that particular time.
Maybe I did something between the time I found the problem and the time I tried to fix the problem.
