Hey i was jus wandering if some1 who has the no how on a really g00d gaming Video card that could be bought in melbourne or Australia>
I need to try and find the best video card 4 games and 4 the best prices in AUSSI $$ please HELP!!!

The best video cards are either the nVidia GeForce 6800 or the ATI X800, both run around $500 USD. I wouldn't know about prices in Australia.

youll need to tell us your laptop... some cards arent available on laptops, and the cost can be killer...

Considering that laptops don't use video cards they use chips. I would imagine it would be a pain in the butt to change out.

I agree with PrISM on this. Those are the 2 best video cards on the market as we speak but something new looms over the horizon.

very few laptops are expandable as far as graphics cards are concerned.

Most of the lower budget models use integrated graphics. Some of the higher end ones have ATI moblity radeons or Geforce 4 go's.

Make sure it has whatever graphics card you want in it BEFORE you buy it.
As nucleo said, the Radeon Mobility 9700 is pretty much state of the art for most laptops.
