Where do I go to find motherboard specs/ jumper setting

motherboard maunfacturer website==>support==>look there

if you can provide us with a model, maybe someone here will do it. aside from that, try google search quotes such as "jumper settings" + "<motherboard model number>"

If you cant find the jumper settings in the support center for your mobo manufacturer, check out the downloads page for your mobo and download the pdf version of the manual. It will most deffinatly be in there.

Aye, but if he needs to know how to set any jumpers to get the correct FSB etc for example, the BIOS will not be able to tell him that. The BIOS will only dispaly the current jumper configuration.
