first choice:

2nd choice

Reasons for having this card, is to play 3d games like Doom 3, etc. and video and photo editing
Also the money I have is limited, so please try to keep it under $160, thank you very much.

Usually I'd go for an Nvidia card, but I really don't like passively cooled cards so I'd go for the first one. I'm currently using a passively cooled 6200 in one of my machines and it runs far too hot, although it does keep my feet warm in these cold winter months...

i would go with the 6600 GT go look for it its about the same price as the x700 well on newegg at least..

or if u want to shell out 50 more bucks and get the XFX 6800gs 485 core 1100 mem

215 dollars at newegg

or just the 6600 gt

If you are looking for a good gamer card 6600gt is probably the best buy...honestly I don´t know that x700 with 512mb (but the overall performance of the x700´s is way lower than the 6600 gt ..but those 512mb can be handy.
But if you watch for the clocks:
x700
# Memory Speed 400MHz
# Core Clock Speed 400MHz
6600gt:
# Memory Clock Speed 1 GHz
# RAMDAC Clock Speed 400 MHz

even the x700xt can´t compete with the 6600 gt
