But i think Core 2 duo is quite expensive than AMD.

well if you want performance get the amd but for busniss then the intel

Ok I will try to assemble an AMD machine. I think thats what i need, the performance of the PC. Thanks demomaestro. :D

I dont get it demonmaestro, if business want to have performance machine, why do they get Intel if AMD is for performance? Ive sensed a syntax error in there mate. :)

I'm holding in my hand, at this moment, an Intel Pentium Processor, 166Mhz. Now THIS was the best processor ever. :lol:

I've heard from some places that the Core 2 Duo is better than the X2. Can anyone here actually tell me what the main difference is, other than price? I'm also going to be building a new machine soon and have yet to select a motherboard/processor.

I think that the X2's have a great performance isto price ratio. You get a pretty good performance in not a lot of money while for the Intel you have to spend quite alot.
