no windows, no dos no nothing. formatted HD i need some help

i have this laptop with no cd drive, no bios startup. says Sony, then Vaio, then goes to Operating system not found. i know this is normal and just means... needs an operating system. heres my dilemma, no cd drive. how do i put windows 2000 on it. i have ...

2000 cd
lots of spare floppies
no cd drive on laptop
floppy drive on laptop

cd drive and floppy drive on this computer that works
- now...
how do i get widows onto that thing?
PS. it has a cd drive but its busted in half cause it fell out once, now just empty space

umm get a new cd drive? or get this thing i can't remember what it;s called but it plugs in to a usb slot and you can slot a hdd in it (made for tuning a hdd into a external hd) maybe you could use that but that would mean taking out your hd so a new cd drive is the easiest way

Apparently, you don't want to buy a replacement drive and I assume you don't want to buy an external CDROM either, so that leaves one long shot since you have a floppy drive.

Supposedly, you can create a network boot disk and use the CDROM from another PC.

i actually fixed a vaio with no cd drive i just borrowed another guys laptop swapped the hdd installed dos and switched up back then used that to install the rest

usually i open that hdd laptop and use computer desktop to copy source win 2000 to hdd laptop so you can install win 2000 under dos
