I have a HP pavillion and using the software provided removed the recovery partion so there is only "c". Using the Western Digital software providedwith a new 160gb drive I made a copy of my boot drive. The clone boots as far as the windows xp logo and then goes to dark screen and hangs, ctrl alt dlt will not reboot, have to power down to restart. When I set the clone as slave it appears to have copied everything and shows up as "e". Properties shows used and free space the same as boot drive. Any suggestions how I can get the new drive to open windows.
Thx

Please don't double post. It makes things confusing. Use the one in Windows forum
