Okey so i have 2 computers that i want to connect to a wireless network and my own computer will be the server.

My aim is to share my DSL connection between 3 computers. One my own in which i have DSL, Another computer which is upstairs and another system which isnt actually a computer, its an Xbox 360. I understand that i will have to get the Wireless Router and connect it to my own computer? Right? I also know that i have to get this Wifi adapter for the 360 which will connect it the wireless network.

Now what do i have to get for the other computer to connect it to the wireless network? Also how do i share the DSL connection between the 3. How do i make my computer the server and share it. Can someone please give me a link to some website explaining this or can anyone tell me how to do it?

Here is how you will be setup:

DSL Modem -> Wireless Router -> PC's and Xbox

None of the PC's have to be hardwired to the wireless router. All you need is to purchase compatible wireless adapters for everyone to connect.

When you mean make one PC a server do you mean making it a file server to share files with everyone on your network?

This should get you started.

Yeap i also want to be able to share files and hardware like scanners and printers. I want to be able to share files around the computers and the 360 and also send prints from my computer to the other computer which is connected to the printer.

I recommend Linksys for the router. I also recommend the G network spec, you could go with N but that is still a bit off from being finalized. I am not fond of USB wireless devices, if you can go with a PCI wireless card if the computer is a tower and PCMCIA if it is a laptop.
