I'm using a Wireless B router from Linksys BEFW11S4 (v4)

I have latest firmware etc etc.

Problem
:::::::::::::::::
Internet randomly cuts out and reconnects for about 10 seconds, before disconnecting me again (windows XP Home says Limited Connectivity); and then it reconnects me for a while (no real set time).

Anyone ever have a problem with this? I'm getting to the point where i'm going to smash this thing with a sledgehammer and maybe take a Saw-All to it...

Thanks

Try TCPOptimizer from speedguide.net
It worked wonders for my connection.

Was it working before? How long ago did this problem start occurring?

Have you changed any setting on the router recently?

I need more info.

I had the same problem with a similar Linksys model once. Had had the thing and was working perfectly for a little over a year. Then one day it simply started doing what you say yours is. I thought I had tested for everything and even had the cable company come out twice. The second tech was the one that found out the router was bad. Bought a new DLink and never had a problem since.

Ok, I like linksys and all but i've always had problems with them.

This time i'll probably switch over and give D-Link a shot.

Thanks
