I replaced the hard drive in my Toshiba laptop, 1805-S207 with a Hitachi Travelstar with 60gb. This computer came with a 20gb HHD. Everything has gone well but it only recognizes 40gb. Any way to get full use of the hard drive? Partition maybe?

Set the BIOS to auto detect.

When you boot the machine, you'll see something that tells you what key to press to get into the BIOS. It could be the delete key or F1 or something else. Once you're in the setup, you have to navigate using the keyboard only. Find the section where the drive detection is and set it to auto.
