Apache server propblems

a while back i installed the apache server to run a small web site for my classroom on and i had somebody help me set it up with PHP 5 and i no longer need the PHP 5 and i just need the server back to the original configuration. I have tried to reinstall the Apache and to no vail to have it back up and running. I am needing so help on how to put the Apache back to where it was and I do not know what I had changed for the set up of PHP 5 to put it back to normal.

Which OS are you running? How did you install PHP/Apache, from a source tarball, RPM, etc .... ?

i am running windows and i do not know the answer to your last question i just downloaded it from the apache site and installed it from that
