Right.

I have decided to make my own Webserver for a number of reasons
I have installed Abyys webserver and it works a treat I have PHP enabled and that works wonders as well

BUT...

For ASP I need a old version of ActiveHTML but the website only has the Newest version of it. Does anyone know where I can get the old version

For MySql, I have tryed Installing it on my old PC whenI had a small server working then, I didn't understand a single thing about it (I still dont) I had installed PHPmyAdmin and that didnt help. Can someone teach me about MySQL and how it works please

I'm not 100% certain ASP will work with MySQL -- it may, I'm not sure. I think ASP = SQL (whatever version --I use 2000 -but not very good at it yet) or MSSQL, whereas MySQL is more on the Linux Flavor. I'm not sure there's a way to make the 2 work in harmony. At least I haven't seen it.

asp and mysql should work but you most probably need ODBC drivers for mySQL.

Not 100% sure as I havent done it meself

installing mySQL should be easy, I havent done it for a while but I seem to recall it was simply a case of following the prompts

using phpmyAdmin also make maintaining it a breeze

Right. I have done a good job so far. I have installed MySQL and a program called MyAdmin (NOT phpmyadmin) this program is miles better. I was confused with phpmyadmin but now it works wonders. I have installed phpBB and It smashing the SQL works Brilliantly
