Worst : Free Hosting (any free hosting). I've never found a "Free" hosting provider that's any good.

Best : For me, http://www.myprohost.com. But I may be a lil biased on that one. :)

i joined up with their free account before xmas...
with the features i get it is the best host i have ever had.

I am a person who doesn't have a credit card nor a lot of money so I stick to the free hosting.

I am using 1and1's free 3 years deal and I really like it. It's the first profesional web hosting I have used so it really got me into how real web hosting works. I haven't had any problems with it yet and since it's got most of the bells and whistles of most other profesional hosting, (like php/mysql DB/perl+cgi/ssh/e-mails/ftp/etc.) and I'm not paying for it, I really can't complain anyways.

My worst one was the hostultra site, someone recomended it to me on a different forum, and it seemed pretty good, so I uploaded a work in progress to show some people and there was this like that didn't go anywhere, and was just there to see the link/link hover colours, so someone clicked on it not knowing about it not going anywhere. And the it led them to some adware infested site that tried to change their homepage and had a bunch of popups.

get an extra 2500mb of space so you will have a total of 27500MB ! it works great I never had any complaints

Worst - the only bad experience I've had is with orgfree but I haveent tried some I think are worse.

Paid (best) - Dreamhost, unless you have some really high traffic on shared plans, they also tend to pull the plug on some scripts, etc...

Well, if we're being self-serving (:)), I would say my company's hosting is the absolute pinnacle of achievement.

Got 20 million? :) Heh.

Alternatively, for those on a more restrictive budget, I have been quite happy with http://www.kabarty.com.
I can be a bit 'discerning' , though others might call it anal-retentive. :)
Just thoroughly pleased with the level of knowledge the operator possesses -- that sort of thing is important to me.
