Hello, I'm pretty new to this. I'm actually just now starting my webmasters certificate. I have built a few websites using the easy builders and what not but I've run into a new problem. My aunt would like me to build a wholesale site for her. Right now we're using Volusion and everything is great except for that it's more of a "Retail" site. I was hoping someone can help me.

Here are the things she wants:

1. FTP pictures uploading, because we have over 2000 pictures for products.
2. Unlimited product listings.
3. Each product needs to have a pricing table so that customers can choose however many products they want in a specific size.
4. She wants the listings in Retail prices and then once a customer buys a certain amount, the price automatically changes to wholesale pricing.
5. She wants wholesale customers to be able to sign in and give us their tax IDs and be able to see the wholesale prices right away.
If you need to see an example, please check http://www.beltwholesaler.com

The link is a website that she hired a company in India to build. She feels that she has no control over the site so she'd like me to build a better one. Some of the sites that she's shown me she'd like to her site to be like are:

http://www.beltstars.com

thanks for your help. anything is better than nothing. I'd prefer if I could use a software similar to Volusion right now since I'm not very familiar with HTML yet. Thanks again.

Hello Derekryans,

I did some research on Volusion and found out that to have
unlimited products like you wanted would cost you $197.95 per month.

You can use OS Commerce to do what you are asking for no monthly fee for the OS Commerce.
You just need a web server with MySQL to run it.

Here is a demo OS Commerce website:

http://demo.oscommerce.com/

I can offer you web hosting for only $4.08 per month / $49.00 per year
You also would get a free domain for 1 year.

With Budget Plan 2 plan

You get the following:

» 1 GB Data Transfer
» 1 Domain Hosted
