Hiya,
I have purchased the "PHP & mySQL for Dummies" Book, and set-up as per the instructions... But I seem to get the
"Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\mysql_up.php on line 10"
error appear when I try to test the MySQL link... I have done all of the following
Unquoted The MySQL ".dll" extentions in the php.ini file
Copied The MySQL ".dll" files into every concievable place, I.e. C:\php, C:\php\ext, C:\windows, C:\windows\system, C:\windows\system32, and probably a few other places where they aren't needed...
Changed and tampered with where the extensions might be located in the php.ini file...

And still I keep getting the same error message displayed... When I restart Apache It runs PHP5 but then tells me that it cannot find the required ".dll" files, I have copied them everywhere I can think to copy them...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Apache2:
Server version: Apache/2.0.50
Server built: Aug 12 2004 23:30:01
PHP: php-5.0.1-Win32
MySQL: mysql-4.0.20d-win

Operating on WinXP.

Thanks
Drew
