http://www.whois.sc/smartgringo.com <= the domain name was registered less than a month ago, so I assume these projects you used this company for were very recent.

Oh, and any hosting company running banner adverts on their home page is probably not to financially secure.

IMO

^ agreed

http://www.powweb.com have good prices and have been around forever - also have a big support forum where you can get quick answers.

http://www.unflux.com also does great priced hosting and is a well respected admin/moderator here at Ozzu

otherwise I suggest again you do a search and see what others have already said

I keep hearing bad things about PowWeb. Could just be isolated cases, but be forewarned.

Unflux looks like a great hosting service. UNFLUX and BigWebmaster seem like great guys that really know what they're doing. I've also taken a look at their plans and they seem pretty competetive, although they can't quite match the big guys.

I heard from an acquaintance that canaca.com improved dramatically, but I have no personal experience with them.

there are many good resellers about anyways.

If you scout around forums like ozzu or devshed, there are plenty of good ones about.

"Cheap" is a relative thing. It depends on what you need. Space, bandwidth, number of email accounts etc. But dont just go for price. If the company is less than a year old, they might also disappear in less than a year in the current hosting market.

We have had a few clients sign up with PowWeb and I have not heard any negative feedback.
