Hi guys,

Do you find useful to have a choice of what kind of CMS to use when you sing up for web hosting service? Hosting companies (at least some of them) offer various software applications to hosting accounts.

It of course depends of the hosting control panel and etc. Which CMS do you prefer?

You may choose a hosting company providing many CMS scripts for the auto-installation. Otherwise also you can install in your own after uploading to the server - not so difficult task as long as the server has all the system requirements.

Joomla and Drupal are two open source CMS script quite popular at the moment. There are plenty of FREE or paid CMS scripts around.

Best wishes,

opensourcecms.com provides limited functionalities for testing.

If you wish to test the full functional testing of many of the CMS, you may do at HumDomains.com

Just to throw this out there-- http://www.sitequarters.com is a new CMS that incorporates both a front end marketing website with a CMS and a company intranet with file storage, email newsletters, polls, discussion boards, photo galleries, contact lists, and custom user permissions on files and pages.

We offer reseller agreements to designers as well.
