I found a cool webmail program called RoundCube Mail

http://www.roundcube.net/

I like it a lot better than SquirrelMail...BUT...It's still in development. I recommend checking it out, but I wouldn't replace squirrelmail yet because it's still a bit buggy.

Just thought I'd let you all know.

But.... if u care about the look... maybe horde or b1gmail... have u tried them?

I love squirrel mail... but users got in their mind that pointles images are fundamental.
Then theres the eternal problem of the html email or the image files autoshow that squirrelmail doesnt suport... stupid user love those stuff... well... lets wait and see what comes out of this roundcube ;)

True, it's very buggy, but's it's also an alpha version. He's been releaseing a new version about once every 3-4 weeks. At this rate, it'll likely be a great package soon.

I really like it thought because it's very easy to edit. I've found that I can easily create skins and customize the actual program. (It's just php)

I don't know if it has any security holes. I'm not aware of any. I have php safe mode on just to be careful though.

Again, it's still in it's alpha stage.
