cpanel parked domain additions

I just parked a domain that did not have its nameserver information propogated through. Does this affect the settings of the parked domain in anyway? I do not have access to view the httpd.conf file to see what actually happened.

I know that I can just go remove the parked domain name in a few days and re-add it, to be certain nothing bad happened, but I am just curiuos about it.
