How long before it is available to the public again? I found one I want, but it is empty - says it expired on 6/10 but I can't get it yet.

I had one go into redemption for 30 days or so AFTER expr. So, I'd start looking at it again AFTER next week.

usally its open for 30-60 days for the owner to renew it then after that if he/she doesnt renew, it should be open to the public although many people use instant register programs to quickly register expired sites.

yea it depends on the registrar, usually at least 30 days between expiring and being available to the public again.
