I prefer Godaddy, but I will tell you one thing to watch out for. Don't buy from anyone that uses Melbourne IT as a registrar. They will totally screw you. I'm still trying to get them to change name servers and my whois info on a 6 year old domain and it's been a year and they don't respond to my emails or anything nor have they changed a thing. If it wasn't for the fact that they're in Australia and I don't feel like dealing with the hassle, I'd sue them.

And for anyone considering Interland as a host they use Melbourne IT as their registrar.

I think eNom and GoDaddy are more reliable in terms of support.

I would go with Godaddy too. I agree with the advice of staying away from Melbourne IT. I know Yahoo uses Melbourne IT. Very little support and very few useful features.

I have registered 20 Domains with NameCheap, and love them. Cheap price, great free extra features, and good support.
If I ever need to change my DNS or Whois Info, or free url forwarding, I can do it fast, it always works for me, and its usually instant.

I have tried GoDaddy, Registerfly, and 000Domains as well, but prefer NameCheap the best.

I have just transfered my domain from there because the service was not to my liking , they kept on addressing me Mr when I emailed them saying it wasn't right, if anything went wrong I had to phone a premium number which I didn't particularly like either and there didn't seem to be any support (maybe because I hade one of the lower pakages, but still). Now I have now got it at purple-paw.com for £10 for two years (a .co.uk domain) I think that is a bargain - plus their response time for sorting out problem are pretty quick normally within the hour.
