All u have to do is follow the directions. get a domain. and then post. i was accepted in less then 12 hours. then i had to set up the DNS stuff and that took around 24 hours. this site is really good. they have php and mysql so you can have forums

Yeah. I wouldn't trust that...did you read all the literature carefully? There's most likely a loophole somewhere.

i've tried to sign up to these "forum" sites before and was always denied and NEVER given a reason why..
not this one in particular but similar.

are these scams? im really not too familiar with them.

Yeah, just avoid the forums sites. Sometimes they're scams. Sometimes they just like to be so selective that they pick one person a year or something ridiculous and just end up generating massive amounts of traffic. It's better to use a free service, be hosted under someone's personal domain or just buy your space. Are you currently looking for something, or were you just asking in general?

im not currently looking for hosting, though i wouldn't mind coming across a free provider that allows remotely hosted php.. :shock:

ive never heard of anyone ever being accepted to these types of sites, and speaking from my experience they all seem pretty shady. (cant give a reason? even when asked....)

whats the point to them really, if they dont accept most accounts? i havent seen any that have been selling anything.
