free ftp access

Is there any place on the web where i can upload files using programming or ftp client (but for free) .

I have tried google but i was unable to find one.

Erm...

I've heard of: http://www.ineedhosting.net <-- They specialise in cPanel hosting which has FTP access
Check them out, and they might apply for what you're asking for... I know an Admin who works there as a mate...

I use SmartFTP and have never had any problems with it. Its free.
