Anyone know of a free file host that offers FTP access, unlimited bandwidth, and maybe 1 GB of space? I searched the forum but I couldn't find anything...
Thanks to all who help!

I'd settle for 500 MB of space and 50 GB of bandwidth.

Hi, Im just curious. What stuff are you going to put online? What do you need 1Gb space for? Do i dare assume its warez or mp3z, since you require unlimited bandwidth?

you have totally lost it. First of all, free hosting usually might get you 50MB at the very most and 1 or 2 GB bandwidth (if you're lucky) . What you're asking for is entirely ludicrous in every respect.
Bandwidth costs the providers money, lots of it, and 50GB is a fair amount to be sure.

No not at all. It was going to be for files for an adult website.

okay, so if you're going to have a legit adult website that gets that number of visits, why wouldn't you, at that point, be able to afford that much bandwidth and space?

I don't have money to pay for file hosting.....I run a home server, but I do not want to be wasting my precious bandwidth on files. Even with a single php/mysql website...I notice slowdowns when I'm playing an online game and someone is visitng the website.

that's because a home computer is not suited to host a website. So, if your site is small enough to be able to host off your home computer, why not get a relatively cheap hosting account with way less bandwidth than you're asking for? Then, you can make the money with the site and eventually afford it?

How much bandwidth is currently being used?

It isn't my home computer.....I actually have a server. Just forget it....obviously there aren't any file hosts that are free. I'll just buy something...
