I have created an FTP site (my first one) using TYPSoft FTP Server. and I have assigned to it an internet public adress. It works perfectly in our instranet, but from outside I can't ping my internet IPAdress, and when I type ftp://MyIPAdress, the browser doesn't recognize the ftp Site.
Will you please tell me what I should do to end the configuration
Thank you very much

What error do you get?

The first thing that springs to mind here is that computers outside of the intranet don't have permission to view the site.

Are you running any kind of firewall that is allowing unlimited communications on 127.0.0.1 & local addresses but not a public NIC?

Are you going through a router? If so, you will have to configure it to point incoming port 21 connections to the specific box running the FTP server - at a minimum. You'll have to set specific ports on the router & FTPd to allow actual file transfers, directory listings, etc. too
