Hello!

I just registered a domain in Godaddy. I set the DNS of a friend of mine. But I don't know How can I upload my website.

I'm using FTP Le, I don't know which is my username and Password. I don't know if it is the username of godaddy, or it is maybe that my friend should give me a username and a password??????

I am new to this. Any information, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!!

Alejandro

Hi,
Poniting your domain at server alone is not enough, it also needs to be hosted on your friends server. It is when this is done that he or whoever is incharge of the server can provide you with a username and password for the things your need.
Talk to your friend he is the one to sort you out.

So, What do I need to give to my friend? My domain name? that's it?

Yes, all you should really need to provide is your domain name. Your friend should know what to do from there.

And later does he have to give me a USERNAME and a PASSWORD to put in my FTP Le software?

Yes, when he creates an account for you he should have a username and password for you.
