Good free hosts with short adresses, preferably subdomains?

Anyone know any good free hosts out there that have short adresses, preferably one where you get a subdomain.
im using http://www.thedirectory.8k.com for one of my directories through freeservers but the popups are bothering me.
looking for something similar without popups.

Not to advertise but we provide pretty good free hosting....the subdomain would be yoursite.techkid.us.........there's no popups the as well

Looks more like a forum to me, where is the hosting section?

the only thing i need in return is a link back to us on your main page, it can be anywhere, top , bottom doesn't matter ....

If you are in the UK you can try http://www.velnet.com
You can have a subdomain or a free hosting but you will need to use a dialup number at a local cost
rate

http://www.staghosting.com/ offers free web hosting. Your domain would look like http://www.yoursite.com without any subdomains. The only thing is they require a link back to their site.
