i was on ebay and spotted this:

for the lazy 1's its a "so called" unmetered package, if they stick to tos.

avoid? the homer in me is tempted
but thought id get a few opinions first.

unmetered is another way of saying unlimited, although it doesnt mean the same thing, people abuse this right all the same.

because of the use of 'unmetered' the host cannot boot you because you are using too much (which a lot of unlimited hosts do), but there is an very very very big chance that you will suffer with 70%-90% uptime.

my advice: dont look on any type of auction system for webhosting, you are destined to be disappointed

anything you have to think about for more than 2 minutes whether its dodgy or not, or have to post a topic about it - is usually dodgy and worth avoiding and going for a reputable company.
