Help-desk software

Considering purchasing some help-desk software for my site.

The only one I have read much about is Kayako eSupport. Does anyone use any other help-desk scripts? What do you think of them?

We use http://exoscripts.com/ free php helpdesk, it does what we need it to do and haven't had any problems with it.

Help Center Live: http://www.helpcenterlive.com/

I'd recommend all of these. Cerberus offers a free version, while Help Center Live's main version is free. PerlDesk is also another very good helpdesk.

Only use Kayako eSupport if you have a great need for the software. It is expensive, when compared to the other solutions.

If you don't mind paying the nominal fee Kayako is a great support & knowledge base solution.

Worth the price IMO.

in my humble opinion, this is simply the best helpdesk/knowledge base software available. Full version is free for a single email license - license fees then apply for additional email addresses and additional domains.

Its a little tricky on the install, but, once you get past that, the product is outstanding...
