You should get a tutorial on HTML if you have not or use a program like Dreamweaver to do it for you. You can learn basic HTML here:

Easiest way to transfer a site is to use an FTP program like WS_FTP Pro. (Some hosts have online file transfer pages in your admin area, but they're usually very slow and can't always do multiple files. WS_FTP Pro can do it all in one swift shot.

Your host should provide your ftp information if it's available.

Usually your FTP host will be ftp.yourdomain.com
Supply the user name they've assigned you and the password. Connect. Find your files on the left. The first thing that comes up on the right should be your domain's root. (Deepending upon your host, they may want you to store your root files in another directory like www, or html, or httpdocs. Check with your host if you are uncertain.)

You can get WS_FTP Pro here:

You should also check your control panel. Most of them have an upload feature built into them that is free.

my suggestion is to get a copy of Microsoft Front Page - it comes free with most versions of MS Office - if your hosting has Front Page Extentions, you can make your site and simply click the upload button and it does it all for you (after you put in your FTP details of course)

FTP being the way files are tranfered to your hosting area so people will be able to view your site when they click your domain name.

Some people like to have a good laugh at Front Page but I stand by it. Its also good for newbies :D

Good luck!!
