I have Cpanel. I have backed up my current database and saved to my hard drive. I want to experiment using fantastico in the cpanel. Do I need to erase the current content in my database to experiment with fantastico? Another question also, will I have no trouble bringing the other website back up using the restore feature? Thanks in advance.

If you have backed up the information, you can remove the db's inside of cPanel and do your experiments. If you don't like it, simply remove and restore the backups.

Each Fantastico installation will use a different database. If you don't like the Fantastico script you installed simply remove it and the database created for the same will go with it. Just make sure you install the script in a toplevel directory eg: domain.com/anything Your previous/original design/database need not be affected.
