I have a forum here: http://www.nameslot.com

I had been using one reseller in past. And recently moved to another server due to the bandwidth usage.

The thing is when the traffic comes in really fast then there is a MySQL error of too many connections and sometimes even the server goes down. In just mere 50 to 60 members online.

Please let me know what should I do?

Thanks.

I would definetely read up on a host's AUP/Terms and Conditions about this. Alot of hosts in fact, do limit the number of MySQL connections to a given server. But alot of host's also do NOT limit the number of connections. If you haven't tried, you could take a look around in some hosting directories and/or do a google search for hosts that don't limit MySQL connections.
