How can they do this!!

It looks as though my host has cancelled my hosting!!

I have NO IDEA why they would do this unless payment was due for this month, but if it was, I didnt recieve a invoice for it!!!.. How the hell can they just do this? I worked my ass off on my site. And now its all gone. Iam so not happy!!

I cant imagine they would have cancelled my hosting for having the wrong kind of stuff on my site as its a jewellery design business..

Not yet. Iam about to email them. I cant call them as they arent in Australia.

Well if you have a local version all is not lost. You can easily get some new hosting and unless you have lost a lot of money for the hosting then there isn't a great deal you can do really. Good luck find a new host and getting back on your deet. PM me if you need any help with anything

please tell me that you had your site backed up somewhere else? Like on your hdd?

If you didn't back up your site, you can always try to restore it by:

1) http://www.archive.org/
2) using google cache and copy and paste the code

Benat -- another thing to double-check is whether or not your domain name expired. I inadvertantly missed my renewal and my domain was down for a couple days until I renewed it, even though I was currently paid up with my host.

I agree with ATNO/TW. They might have sent you domain renewal reminder and somehow you didn't check that mail or deleted it. No host would cancel any of its clients account just like that. The best thing will be that you call up them and ask them. Can you log onto control panel?

Try http://www.domaintoolbox.com - it's a great site to check domain names and ping sites etc. to see if something is wrong ...

This happens quite often actually. It's an annual thing so people are apt to forget.
