how do I get a domain name to connect to my computer?

OK, so, I just bought a domain name and I need to know how to get it to go to my webserver on my computer. How and what program do I use to get it to 'connect'? Thanks, wirercx

If you have a static ip you can point it directly to it through your advanced setting for whereever you purchased the domain.

I have also used everydns.net for doing this for me in the past also.

If you don't have a static ip there are some tools out there for dynamic ones like zoneedit.com

I do have a dynamic ip and I am behind a router, if that has anything to do with it,

you can use this site to forward your ip. very easy for u.

dyndns.com is great also.
