Hi,

In my htaccess i got this code that supports modrewrite for our forum

Code: [ Select ]
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.url.com$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.url.com/$1 [R=301]

# You could need to un-comment the following line
# Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
  1. RewriteEngine on
  2. RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.url.com$
  3. RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.url.com/$1 [R=301]
  4. # You could need to un-comment the following line
  5. # Options +FollowSymlinks
  6. RewriteEngine On
  7. RewriteBase /

I also have addon domains, but the problem is that everytime i go on http://www.addondomain.com it directs to http://www.url.com/addondomain.

I experimented and took out the code above and it all worked. it didnt change the domain name.

BUT... i can't access the forums anymore, so i had to change it back.

The question is: Which code do I have to delete in order to be able to visit the forums but without having my addon domains change URL.

Thanks

I dont know if this is allowed but do a search for
webmaster -toolkit . com (push the words together)
they have a mod rewrite script that could help you.
