hey guys, I hope this is in the right section, i was just wondering, if i created a web page (in the distant future) in there a way i can publish it for free? it doesn't have to be accessible by any search engines so long as its on the web with a http://www......

thanx in advance for any replies and sorry if i posted this in the wrong section

There are free hosts all over the net. A while ago, I got a free www (not in my own name) with it, but you're more likely to get a url like "yourname.yourfreehostsname.com" or "www.yourfreehostsname.com/yourname".

Search engines see them all the same, doesn't matter if you have your own url or not.

And if you register your own domain, you can set up domain forwarding with masking to point to that ugly url (and still show the pretty url on the browsers address bar). Atleast GoDaddy lets you do this free for all your domains.

This is not a good solution if you are expecting to get search engine traffic, but it's cheap. ;-)
