Hi everyone, boy am I glad I found this site..

I need to move my e-commerce site from Midphase.com and I just can't seem to find another company worthy, maybe I'm too picky or haven't looked in the right place yet. But either way, I'm hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction..

My requirements are:
Linux Server
PHP 4.1+
MySql - unlimited
pop3 email - unlimited
Dedicated IP
10GB storage space (minimum)
5GB Bandwidth/mo (minimum - currently use 3.4gb/mo)
Fantastico
24/7 Tech Support
USA Based
99.9% uptime (Midphase has my site down on a daily basis for between 15min-3 hours every day)
Monthly cost: $10/mo (approx)

I was thinking of LunarPages, but saw a couple people saying how their uptime isn't reliable. That's the most important thing I need is reliability.

thanks in advance for your help...

Hello Jeff,

many webhosts can accomodate your requirements.

Are you certain about the 10 GB of diskspace? that seems awlful high to go along with 10 GB of transfer.

Look for a provider specializing in application hosting.

Medialayer might be agood place to start.

hope this helps...

10GB? What sort of files are you hosting? Having 10GB space with 5GB bandwidth doesnt sound realistic. Maybe you should re-think what you are seriously after.

What sort of hits does this website normally get?
GSDomains.com -Click here - Packages starting from £3.69 a month. 1.5GB Space & 10GB Bandwidth.

Check out hostgator or if you have more money to spend have a look at media temple.

You will have to give more info though! What sort of site is this? and like Nem said what sort of hits is it getting?

Can you explain why your site is down everyday? Are you using "tons" of resources?

How come you need 10GB minimial? What sort of traffic do you see everyday, have a URL?

Hostgator, Bluehost are some of the reputable hosts which can provide you with those requirements. Their plans starts somewhere around 7 USD per month. You may need to pay 10usd per year for a dedicated IP.

So the effective price would be about 8 USD!

The best thing about hostgator I like is 24 x 7 support on live chat. I can get their executives even in the midnight.
