Ok I am looking for a plan to get domain forwarding. I checked out http://www.mydiscountdomains.com/ and they only charge $8.88 a year. But I have one question about this. I was wondering if with domain forwarding I could point it to http://www.all4actions.com/~jarlan/ instead of straight to the index file. I would like to be able to type in http://www.my-url-.com/viewtopic.php?t=42 and beable to goto http://www.all4actions.com/~jarlan/viewtopic.php?t=42. Is that what domain forwarding can do? Also I get domain locking for free and it sounds like to me that I would not be able to do this.

domain forwarding means you type in a domain, and it redirects automatically to another. I don't believe you can send it to a specific page.

i use http://www.godaddy.com for all my domain needs, and I have never had a problem. I don't know anything about the one you listed.

For most forwarding services yes, you can do that. Just remember that if it's capable of it, to put the slash at the end of the forwardee (if that's a word). Ex. your-url.com should point to "http://www.blah.com/yourfolder/"

Ok it is fully working but one more question of my millions. I have it forwarded to http://www.all4actions.com/~jarlan but when I goto my domain it goes to http://www.all4actions.com/~jarlan/index.php of course cause thats the index page. but when I type in my domain http://www.legacy-rpg.com/portal.php to goto my portal page, it goes to "This page cannot be displayed."

Ok I decided I am going to move my hosted account to somewhere else. But I need to find a good hosting with these requirements and please dont lock this since I did do a search but cant find what i want.

Specs:

$5.00 - $9.95 a month

first thing is, you really didn't search because hosting bids are ALL OVER this forum. Searching
the term "hosting" proved 549 results.

Since you want the easy answer, PM me for more
info, I can help you out.

cheap prices usually means cheap service. as with
anything in this world, you get what you pay for.

Spend a couple extra bucks a month, and get the
utmost in quality.
