okay. recently, i bought yet another new domain name. and today when i check me e-mail, this webhost called IP01 e-mailed me with an invitation asking me to recieve a premium hosting package free of charge for 12 months. Although i went to their site and found that they are pretty reputable and there are NO catches at all (cus they will treat you as though you DID pay 85$), however, I think this may be too good to be true and thus asks for your advice.

(besides, i dont wanna leave my current host)

my advice is, if you are happy with your current host then why leave? If it says free....I doubt it's any good. but that's just my opinion.

As is with hosting as is with life.......

You get what you pay for.

i agree.
If you are happy with yr current host, why leave?

I had bad experience before - 60gb bandwidth, 2 gb space and free domain name registration. Reputable company too. No catches.

all in all, for 90 USD inclusive of domain name..

Quite cheap and good!

turns out to be bad service, lack of some features that i need.

And now, i am switching to another host... :(

Maybe put a mirror of your website up with the free hosting and see how it performs?

well, i'd rather sell it, I KNOW that it's good, but not as good as my current host (the one that I paid for), dont know who's gonna buy it though. If no one's gonna buy, then i'll just give that membership to a friend.
