I haven't done much research as far as pricing goes on website hosting, but with my small site I pay $8 a month (around 25 megs of space, light traffic). I've only compared with a few other sites, so I'm curious as to know if I'm getting a great deal or not?

I agree with rose, they are great!

I have had minimal downtime, and it is always very fast. And with one gig of storage you can't beat it :-p

For the amount of space you need that price is a bit high. Look around and you may find some better deals for small sites.

ok not trying to be a bad guy here but

1. PowWeb insanly oversells.
2. I'm sure you could find a lil something for $2 for such a small site.
3. I am starting a hosting company soon and I should have the servers ready by next month/year  Just the site wont be done....if you are willing to go without my site being up for awhile then I could give you 50 megs space and 500 megs bandwidth for $1.50 - $1.99

And Im not trying to spam here or anything im just showing you that its possible to get what you need at a low low price in other places....yea that comes with alot more but do you need it? :D

WOW! so you can set up 10 websites or you can set up as many as you want!

Sounds too good to be true and I would need to test a client website fot that.

no no....its 10 users...like i guess if you were to have 10 people that edit the site.... just 10 usernames and passwords to get to the same FTP/hosting account.

Guess you get what you pay for!

well in webhosting terms...overselling is like.... if they have (we are going to use small numbers) if they have 10 gb of transfer to sell... they might sell 3 or 4 plans with 5 gb of transfer....because they know that they are not going to use all of there bandwidth so they sell it again...im not saying other hosts dont do it...but thats why my hosting site is for small sites....so i cant oversell (cuz i would be tempted to if i were hosting lager accounts  )

Gotcha, that makes sense but for what it's worth 7.77 a month still isn't a bad deal.
