Hi all,

I've been looking for the best way to manage my mailboxes.

I have a desktop pc and a laptop.
The laptop should be able to check new and earlier mails whereever I am... and at the same time, another person must be able to use the desktop pc's Outlook with the same mailboxes.

Recently I configured IMAP mailboxes.
Works, but when Outlook is online on both pc's, there is this annoying error message that keeps returning: connection is broken because the server doesn't support multiple simultanious connections. I already contacted their help desk and they cannot change it.

I have already tried synchronisation programs and "simple" mail servers on my pc before, but nothing feeds my needs... And I don't really trust synch.

Maybe you have another creative idea on how to optimize the mailbox usage...

Thanks in advance for your input :-)

Greetz

Both of these are good solutions - however, based on your requirements, you are really entering into the realm of an exchange server or an exchange alternative (like zimbra.com)

Forward the email to another account and leave a copy on the existing server?
