Anyone know if it's possible on godaddy?

YES, indeed godaddy have plan that allow you to host few domains in single plan. I am using godaddy for beginning of my online business. but later found out, the server is way too slow.

now i have hosting with hostgator, and also bluehost, and i setup few domains there as well. pretty fast server, and better support team. godaddy would take 12-24 hours to reply a ticket, or not reply at all.

You can have multiple domains on GaDaddy. I have 14. All under one hosting account.
1) Open your hosting control panel. Click Domain Management. Find the domain you want to add to your account under the Domain pull down menu. Under the Domain Hosting Path pull down menu, choose 'enter directory path'. Type the folder name that you wish to create. Click 'Add Domain'..

Hi all. Nice forum you have. I just joined and I have few questions.
Mike,

I just got the same package and I have some questions...
Did you registered your domains with godaddy also?
Mine are registered elsewhere. (geo tld)

My question...
When you created your Primary Domain on Hosted Site what name should you pick?
Whats the significance of this name? (There will be no website created with that name)

All my domains are created inside the Prim Dom and are created this way.

***************************************************
NAME of Primary Domain on Hosted Site - http://www.anyname. com
***************************************************
other added domains:
+ http://www.one.com.mk - directory /onecommk
+ http://www.two.com.mk - directory /twocommk
+ http://www.etc.com.mk - directory /etccommk
***************************************************
Please comment how you named your Prim Dom.
Plese add some tips or something else :)
Thansk a lot!

I've been using godaddy for quite awhile and I like them. However there is something I have been wanting to do and am not sure how to do it.

I have a hosting plan and it has a domain name (this domain uses claims 100% of the web space? I'm only using a small amount though)
Can I divide my webspace so that two or more domain names can be used on it?
I would like to add 2-3 more completly seperate sites .. would they each need a hosting plan of thier own?

Thanks

multiple domain hosting mean your single account can have few websites hosted.
for sample i having 1 account with hostgator, but i placing 3 websites and running from the same space now. i could have more websites.

Actually godaddy does support add-on domains. But I don't like godaddy because I think it's a good domain register but not a good hosting provider!

For hosting plan I strongly recommend bluehost .

Bluehost is very stable and it has most of the linux hosting features. Actually it has free sitebuilder and Fantastico (Auto-Installs)
and it's very easy to constract a new website.

click here to visit bluehost and learn more !

Even if you can't host multiple domains on a single plan, i would presume you could still create add-on domains that would be accessed by their TLD still. An add-on would just use resources for your original hosting plan.
