Minimum requirements:

PHP enabled
20 MB space
1 gig transfer
5 email accounts
FTP transfer

Will be good to have:
MySQL
CGI
US Based

Umm...it will be enough for me if the site was just online and there was no hassle. The sites I want to host are nothing crucial. Simple static sites showing company profiles and stuff.

But since these days you can host 4/5 domains in one host in one deal perhaps, I can spend a few more bucks. Do you have any suggestion as to which is the best host worth it's money?

Currently I am using websitesource for two of my domains. Their supposrt is awesome but costly. I do not need that many features, space, or bandwidth for some of my sites. Any clue?

thread that good service comes at a cost.

This includes just being a reliable host, most hosting is so overrun by
cheapies that they aren't reliable or serviced well. It's just a fact of the
industry.

I get your point Uni. Give me a few names of your own choice that you think are good and give a competitive price.

well, I host myself and clients and others so that would mean I am biased.

nah Unflux, you are too modest. Does your hosting company has any seperate web site with price and stuffs? I do not see anything abt hosting in unflux.com.

hosting site is unflux.net, but it's in redesign mode. and we're getting
some new servers in place so we're trying to hold off on taking any new
clients at the moment, which is why i haven't really said much about it.
I'll be making a public announcement once we're ready.

could be at least 250 mb space and 200gb of bandwith with unlimited features with lower than your willings?
