netcraft survey?

I saw http://www.netcraft.com on my stats, went to look, and found that they are a hosting provider. Found a piece that said they were building a graph about my URL - http://www.earlyworkspress.co.uk
I've had quite a few click-throughs from their site now. They aren't my hosts, and I don't understand what they are doing. Can anyone explain?

If you were to have clicked on 'About Netcraft' you would have found several paragraphs concerning their core business.
