  Hi there (cool I seem to always start it with that) anyway a quick question about phpBB I want to use it on my website but I have no idea how to put it on. The phpBB website seems to not be that helpful in that area does any one know what to do it will probably be something simple but god knows what you are meant to do! Have a look @ it http://www.phpbb.com.

And phpBB is generally very helpful. Most require only a few steps to install - have you read the included readme file?

Most webhosts actually offer something called " Fantistico " In their Cpanel ( I am guessing you have Cpanel?)

Anyway if you do have Cpanel you can login to it, Go to fantistico and click on install phpbb. Most hosts offer to install PHPBB2 version 2.0.22

But some hosts do offer to install PHPBB3.

If you do not have this feature enabled, I would suggest you read on how to install PHPBB2 or 3 manually.

if you cant do this, if you would like I will help you installing it for you.

Tastysite, ask your host to install it for you, or many offer plans with phpbb preinstalled, my host [banned domain] gives it on all shared plans.

So you recommend Amazon and then imply we're slow for not assuming every single book is made available in PDF form to obtain illegally...to install a free program in the first place.

You are calling me slow? My friend. Just for you I will explain this.

1. Open your internet Browser.

2. Type in http://www.phpbb.com

3. Click on downloads

4. Select the version of phpbb you wish ( do you need a book to assist you with this)

5. Read the Documentation

( 100% free and all legal )
